Research and Conference Funding

FESRT GRANTS FOR STUDENT RESEARCH AND KNOWLEDGE DISSEMINATION

The  FERST  wishes to support student research and knowledge dissemination in all areas of education  through an annual funding envelope.

The applicant (or in the case of joint submissions, the applicants) must be a current graduate student affiliate of the  FERST; enrolled full time in a student’s/ graduate program at a provincially or territorially  University. The applicant’s direct supervisor must also be a current member of the FERST. Funding up to N100,000 and above  is available per project.

The adjudication committee will consider the following in evaluating proposals: overall research approach/methodology, feasibility of the research and the environment in which conducted, originality of research, impact of research, and applicant’s qualifications. Applications are due October  10th  of each year; check the FESRT ’s website in August same year  for information the deadline and application requirements.
